Inspire and educate the next generation by modelling sustainability at school.
Get involved: We launched the Zero Emissions Schools Network in 2020 with the support of Mosman Council for all schools in Mosman LGA. This includes regular meetings, sharing challenges, solutions and opportunities. Here is info about our launch, member schools, and network meetings. Please contact our Zero Emissions Schools program leader Jenni if you’d like to get involved in our Mosman Network or be part of a new one.
What is your school’s footprint?
ClimateClever provides an app for schools to calculate their carbon footprint, track annual emissions, learn how to reduce their carbon footprint and compare results with other schools. The app is available discounted or free to schools in Mosman, the Northern Beaches and Lane Cove via local council partnerships. Get in touch with your local council for more information.
Large schools can save around $114,000 p.a. and small schools $12,700 pa. This free council-run program supports schools from start to finish.
