Solar My House

Our flagship program, Solar My House, was launched in early 2020. We've had 30 events, including 9 house parties, 2 community events and 16 zooms. 55 households have installed solar, adding up to about 1200 panels.
Markets and Expos

We held our first market stall at the Mosman Craft Market in October 2020. We've since been at seven more markets in Mosman and helped many people make a sun pledge. In June 2021 we also had a stall at the Northern Beaches Council's Simplifying Solar Expo. Hopefully, we'll be coming to markets near you soon!
Communities

We've engaged with councils, federal and state representatives, attended public forums and hosted a Climate4Change session. We've done special events for community groups including Manly Food Co-op and the University of the Third Age. We've had four volunteer meet-ups and made a lot of friends! That includes over 1000 subscribers to our regular newsletter and social media.
Planting trees

It's impossible to put a number on it, but just imagine twelve football pitches filled with trees... We reckon through our programs to date we've helped people save carbon emissions equivalent to planting around 6800 trees a year (give or take a twig).
The future is electric

We've had 4 electric vehicle webinars, and welcomed electric cars, bikes, motorcycles and scooters to Mosman markets. We've worked with Tesla and the Good Car Co, and watch this space for our Transport Expo plans!
Sunny and Share

We were proud to launch our first Sunny and Share installation this year at Pioneer Clubhouse in Brookvale. The 32 solar panels were installed by our good friends at Solarpro, and will save Pioneer Clubhouse $5000 a year, money they can spend on their core program.
Awards

Not to blow our own trumpet but...
We have won a Northern Beaches Council Environment Award for our work taking action on climate change, and been awarded grants from Mosman and Northern Beaches Councils.
Where to begin?

We've done the research and found answers to questions like 'what can I do?' We've put together how-to guides, case studies and a website full of resources. And we've produced the Mosman Sustainable Living Guide, full of top tips and ways to make a difference.
How far have we come?
It was back in 2019 when a small group of ordinary people hatched a plan to make a difference. We've come a very long way.

It only takes a minute...
The impact is for eternity. This powerful message, developed by Dof Dickinson and her team of creatives at Brainz, drives our most impactful campaign, Switch to Renewables. Clean, green renewable electricity is available at much the same price* as grubby fossil fuel generated electricity, but you have to choose it. We went through all the options and recommend 5-star rated Diamond Energy. Switch to Diamond and you're well on your way to zero emissions!

Solar My Business

Did you know that if the Brookvale light industrial area were to have 50% of its roofs covered in solar panels it could be a 20 MW solar power station? Solar is a solid investment for business, as our case study businesses discovered.
How to be a superhero

Do you know what your bank or super fund is investing in? We checked. Moving your money to an ethical investment company can make a big difference.
Ideas, hopes and dreams

Ooh, you found me. Just a little bubble to remind us that from little things, big things grow. The world is changing fast, and so too is the sustainability and climate action movement. Watch this space!
